Avanti Court Primary School is an Academy for children aged 3–11. The school is a four-form entry, mixed primary school with an attached nursery with over 600 children on roll. From September 2018 Avanti Court will reduce from a four form of entry school to three forms of entry.
We are a Hindu faith school, which welcomes children and staff from all backgrounds. The school is operated by the Avanti Schools Trust, an organisation, which strives for educational excellence, character development and a growing spiritual awareness for all their young people. The designated religious authority is the iFoundation.
Both the Trust and the religious authority are inspired by and draw upon the teachings of Krishna Chaitanya, part of the same religious tradition as ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. This means that the nature of Collective Worship and Religious Studies will be broadly reflective of the practices and teachings of ISKCON. The Trust and religious authority are independent legal entities and they may choose to collaborate with ISKCON in instances which will benefit the Avanti schools.
"Hare Krishna! On behalf of the pupils, staff and School Stakeholder Committee, I warmly welcome you to Avanti Court Primary School where everyone is welcome and everybody is included. Our special ethos is embellished by our unique three-fold pathway; Spiritual Insight, Character Development and Educational Excellence centred around the development of the whole child.
Drawing from the teachings of Sri Krishna Chaitanya, our ethos shares His inclusive understanding of education and spirituality which propagates humility, equality for all, love and compassion that stretches across all faiths and philosophical teachings. At Avanti Court Primary School, every child is a unique spiritual being with incredible potential and our curriculum offer enables them to flourish and move along in their journey of life with confidence and grace. All staff work collaboratively with parents/carers as co-educators to ensure that every child who is at the heart of everything that we do is prepared to meet their life challenges.
We are an inclusive school and care for and show respect to those from all walks of life, providing personalised pastoral care and support enabling our learners to choose the appropriate tools for embracing and tackling both opportunities and setbacks in their lives. ..."

Avanti exists to help each person become a well-rounded human being through intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, and so make the world a better place.
Avanti Schools support each person’s life journey along three parallel paths: Educational excellence; Character formation; and Spiritual insight.
Avanti’s unique ethos places a key emphasis on each individual’s wellbeing and good mental health. Children with higher levels of emotional, behavioural, social, and school wellbeing, on average, have higher levels of academic achievement and are more engaged in the school community. All our schools share a dedicated approach to wellbeing, from providing yoga and mindfulness sessions, sports and exercise, charity work, and working with parents and carers as co-educators.
